This Native American Heritage Month biography banners research project is one of my favorite activities for middle school and high school students to learn about influential Native American individuals in November. Students are in complete control of this project as they select their individual, research their lives, and create an informational banner to educate their classmates about their Native American individual.
Take back your time with this LOW PREP project, which comes in both PRINT and DIGITAL versions. This Native American Heritage Month project contains over 30 pages of instructional materials to help teachers and students through this research activity. In addition, the completed banners can not only be used as an informative tool but also as purposeful classroom decor, like a Native American Heritage Month Bulletin Board or Door Decorations.
