The Letter to My Future Self project is the PERFECT first day of school writing prompt to use at the beginning of the new school year or semester. This NO PREP back to school writing activity contains scaffolded materials for student goal setting and creating action plans. Once letters have been written, they can be placed in a safe place until students reflect on their progress during the Mid-Year and End of Year Reflections.
